I am so sorry for the bad experience while you had here, Kara. We are continuing to make this a better place to stay. If you had them while you were here, we did not know about it. If we had, we would have taken every measure to take care of it immediately. We have been here since 2014 & have never experienced that problem.
Great place! Nice and quiet, and has a beautiful, serene atmosphere. The owners and managers are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Very well kept. Best amenities around. Highly recommended!
Sadly we got roaches from this camp site and we were only there for 3 days! We have never seen any bugs of any kind in or around our camper! I think this wouldn't have happen if it weren't for all the junk around the sites or if the people staying there were required to clean up, along with the owners'
Stayed in one of the apartments for about 6 weeks while working in the area. Owners are friendly, the room is spartan. You'll need your own linens, towels, cleaning supplies, cooking items and TV. I never heard the train at night in my room, the traffic noise is minimal. Its located a short drive from a major grocery store, an even shorter drive to a store with the essentials but higher prices. My neighbors were all friendly and I always felt safe there. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
The park wouldn't be so bad if there weren't loud trains passing right behind it every day/night and someone didn't steal my boyfriend's shoes right out of the bed of his truck before he had the chance to clean them. They also say they don't usually allow dogs but multiple people here have them and just let them walk around unleashed and poop all over the grass without picking it up. Multiple times I've had to pull my dog back and bring him inside because of someone's loose dog.
