Lake Frances is located off of Highway 54 just 11.2 miles west of Fort Scott, 1 3/4 miles west of the Redfield turn or 3 miles east of the Uniontown turn. A lake sign and windmill are visible north of the highway and mark the entrance to the lake.
Lake Frances was an amazing experience. Beautiful scenery. Most kind people you would ever meet! Peaceful. Nice getaway.
The couple that manages this is awesome! The old man that owns it is a TOTAL different story!! Do your homework b4 camping here!!!! Do NOT Recommend because of OWNER!
This is a great lake with solid R.V. and cabin options and a fairly nice bath, shower, and laundry facility. The best fishing in the area.
I'm workin in the Ft. Scott area and I'm stayin at Lake Frances in my camper. The first week I was there my wife went with me and helped me get setup. We walked down to the lake at sunset and got some beautiful pictures. The man that owns it and the folks that take care of the place are great and helpful people .
Lynn is a great guy and keeps a neat RV Park !! We stay a week or two every year to visit grave sites and family in the area.
