Sundowner is nice, quiet, and secure. It's a bit higher in price than the other RV parks, but clean laundry room with no waiting, clubhouse, and plenty of shade makes it well worth what little extra they charge. I lived here one whole month...never heard one loud voice, or disturbance. I'll be back.
Second stay, They are friendly and caring. I caught the virus during my time in Farmington, and Dianne practically adopted me during my illness. She went to the store for me, spoke with my family, and basically treated me like one of the family. It's a great park, and I recommend it to anyone.
Safe, clean, and convenient. Grounds are well taken care of. Staff are nice and accommodating. Rates are very reasonable. My wife and I stayed here for about 8 months while working in Farmington. Would highly recommend for a quick stop in town, or a long-term stay. As others have said, no fire pits or other amenities like that, but they have a small, nicely equipped gym and a nice laundry area. Had a problem with electricity at one point and it was resolved quickly between on-site maintenance and their electrical contractor.
I have to say 10/10 for Sundowner RV park. As a traveling healthcare practitioner, I have stayed at many campsites, by far this Has to be one of the best I have ever stayed at.
We loved it there. The owners and workers were so nice, they made you feel like family. It was very well kept up. I highly recommend this campground.
