1 I rang & booked a 50amp site for the night. On checking in we were told to pick any site we wanted. We had to check every site to find a 50amp site for our trailer. On goint to office about sewerage I mentioned the difficulty in finding a 50amp site only to be told they are all only 30amp. The 1 50 is booked by a permanent. Why take my booking in the first place?

2 Couldn't connect to sewerage.

3 Site not anywhere level.

4 WiFi not working.

5 No TV.

Unfortunately with a storm brewing we could not move onto the next town on our route as it was some distance away. Didn't want to be in the storm when driving through unknown territory. Had to stay.

Don't go there.....

We are self contained that helps. There weren't many choices on this road so the Sands was a welcome find. Sites were level. We had water and electricity. Wifi worked. Host was very helpful. Bathroom was very old. Short walk to an interesting

"Ghost Town." Womans Club was having a BBQ with a band for the Fourth of July. Down side: very close to train tracks, 7, 10, 12 and 3 am. A tenant there had a dog and place full of dog poop. We had a very strong wind storm during night and lost power. All was good in morning and off we go to Kansas. We'll be back if we have to and it's still there.

When we got into town we were just looking for a parking lot to park in, good luck. We found this little spot and it was perfect. Full hookups, water, wifi, waste, and a space big enough for our 40' rig. It's $25 a night, a little high if you plan on staying a few nights but we were only staying one night so it wasn't bad. We didn't ask about longer term deals so if you stay just ask. That's about it. It is a good place for a night sleep before you hit the road again.

Me and my husband. And our 2 dogs stayed here in the RV park area for the past 9 weeks and Gwen and Betty are very nice and helpful ladies very pleasant to talk to and do business with. We did enjoy staying here we didn't have any issues at all its nice and quiet usually unless the train is passing through but its was worth staying there. They arent overpriced. The only issue we had was when Gwen left before Betty was running the place they had a Chris Hill working there he was not helpful he was high everytime when I went into the office he made me fill another card out even though we were paid up for the he said he was the new management and he over charged us by 25.00 other people had issues with him over charging them from what I understood he was a nightmare and thank god he got them out of there.
