This place is fantastic. I've taken my family here multiple times and they had a blast every time. You pay to enter and you pay per inch for every trout you catch. The prices are reasonable and what's more, the fishing is better than good... it's guaranteed! I can't recommend this place enough if you wanna have an easy day of fishing.
When they were open -- 2021?-- it was great. But 2022 and now 2023, they are closed. Buttoned up tight. Out of business apparently. I wish they would take their website down off the internet. It is misleading. Also their RV park is no more either. This is Memorial Day weekend.
We come here every summer to fish and have a great time. Everybody is nice and it's never too hot because of the water. You will always get a bite and I guarantee it because I was able to catch a fish with ought bait! 10/10
Great little pond to take young kids to fish. The folks that run it were very kind, very helpful. My daughter was getting tired of fishing in the Rio Grande and Caballo lake and not catching anything so we took her here. Caught a very small trout. Since you cant release anything we took it, but normally it would have definitely been a release rather than a keep. She was happy though. Would definitely take her back here again.
