We pride ourselves on offering clean hot showers and flush toilets even during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
There is a site for all campers. RV sites, Rustic cabins, and tent spaces available.
I-90 Exit Follow Avalanche Road to the top if the hill. Entrance is on the south side of the road.
I love this place. 2nd year we stayed here and it's great. Was there for Sturgis bike week. Can't beat the price and location. Ride all day, come back eat a dinner and hop on the bus downtown. The bar here is awesome too. Met alot of great people staying at the campground, it's a fun lil bar. Already booked for next year. Our cabin was very spacious and had a great view of bikes coming in and out of campground. The owners are easy to work with and a very hard workers. Our stay was perfect.
Basic but nice, comfortable cabins. We had a fridge, ac and a table and a double bed I believe. The bathrooms are kept very clean and plenty of hot water for showers. There is a bar and they sell food too. Beautiful views from this place. We'd definitely stay here again.
We had cabin #4 btw.
Excellent staff, good food, awesome bar, everyone is so friendly. Our cabin and view was phenomenal! Washrooms and bathhouses were always very clean! Highly recommend staying here, we will be back!
We have stayed at Sturgis View Campground the last four years. Tent camping the first two years and two years in a cabin. First, let me say that the new owners are great. They made some improvements this year by adding a general store and intend to make ongoing changes to make the campground better. Nick and Jen actively solicited feedback from campers during this year’s rally. They really wanted to know what we did and didn’t like and what improvements we’d like to see in the future.
As always, the campground facilities were clean. It is small and quiet. Nick and Jen have no intention of changing that. A limited breakfast and dinner is available daily. You can grab a pizza and/or beer at the bar any time they’re open.
The campground sits high above Sturgis, about 1.5 miles away. One side overlooks town, the other has an epic view of Bear Butte.
We can’t wait to come back next year!
This was the most beautiful campground I have ever stayed at. Very well kept up. The most amazing view and the owners were amazing. Thank you for this great vacation spot!
