In town from Jct of Hwy 63 & Hwy 36, W 1.1 mi on Hwy 36 (North Street) (R)
We stayed there last year and loved it. Beautiful setting around a private lake, great site for our motorhome and the owners are the nicest couple. We recommend Bailey's wholeheartedly.
Now called Bailey's RV park. The new owners are Super nice. Full 50 amp, sewer & water, no cable TV. No individual fire pit or picnic tables. Showers spotlessly clean, as was the whole park. There is a community fire pit with free firewood. We really had a very good experience.
Now Baileys RV Park. Very clean stop. Quiet and the small lake is pretty with beautiful sunsets over it. The showers and restrooms were extremely clean and the laundry was nice.
We are interested in history of Pony Express, so when traveling across country try to get in a few sites. While heading towards Rock Creek Station, we discovered Stallbaumer RV Park and Campground. What a lovely place! Don't let the smaller size deter you from getting here. RV sites are exceptional: level concrete enough to form a patio, pea gravel, a bit of well maintained turf and a young shade tree. Bathhouse very clean. Pergola by large pond charming. We and our pups had a very confortable, quiet stop. I concur wroth prior posts regarding location in general.
On my way home from 2 week on the road staying in campgrounds I spent my last night at Stallbauner RV Park. This is a great little spot along Rt. 36 to stay. The entire area is spotless and the bathrooms were the cleanest that I saw all across the country. Not a huge place, but I would gladly stay again.
