beautiful place. good for all ages, fishing, trails galore, just overall stunning. we go every week. quiet, plenty of tables, outlets, playgrounds, free water from hydrant. its really nice
Gunn park is fabulous. It's amazing to have such a great park so close to home. There are multiple playgrounds, two ponds for fishing,. Bike trails and walking trails. There are multiple shelter houses that rent out very reasonable. There are camping with water and electricity for $20 a night. It's quite and beautiful
While Google maps brought us in on a shady back road (see photos), we were graced with a beautiful park with walking trails, playgrounds, and pavillions. The fall colors reflected the next morning on one of the glassy ponds. The asphalt road was broken up and rough and the RV sites were far from level and water hydrants leaked and sites are shared. Thus the reason for 4 stars.
I grew up playing at this park, took my kids there growing up and now I take my grandkids 🥰 we also take our little dog to the dog park area and let him run and play with the other dogs. They have 2 sides. 1 for large dogs and 1 for small dogs. There’s walking and biking trails. Several playgrounds for the kids. Fishing. Picnic tables all over the park and several shelters you can rent for occasions. It’s a beautiful park.
