From jct US 69 & US 54 (Wichita exit): Go 3/4 mi W on US 54, then 1/4 mi N on paved road.
Beautiful, peaceful, serene, and visitor friendly. Park is kept nice and clean. 🙂
The lake itself is beautiful. The swimming area is not well maintained though. I was afraid to take my shoes off because of all the broken glass, dirty bandages, cigarette butts, etc.
We have camped here on & off for a month. This is a beautiful area. It's getting cold so we will be going south soon. We look forward to returning in the spring.
We have made new friends & visited old friends. The Lake Patrol Officer is very friendly & helpful. Suggested some great places to shop & places for necessary repairs. We feel very safe here at the lake thanks to his presence! I'm thinking we'll be looking for property soon!
This lake is beautiful. It has several boat ramps, a nice beach/swim area, multiple camp grounds with restrooms, good fishing and a beautiful view all around. Well worth a day visit or weekend camping trip.
