Excellent place to bring out the family. Wanna relax & simply sit in the shade fishing? Pick your spot from many many great areas. Kids ready to get wet and go swimming? The public beach is very nice and roomy for the other folks with the same idea to spread out the blankets & towels. There are several areas for quiet picnics with tables & grills with awesome lake views. At the end of the day, pitch your tent at the campground and enjoy the quiet Kansas evenings before turning in for another day of adventure.
This is a relaxing, tucked away, beautiful little lake. Great place for picnics, swimming, kayaking,fishing or just to relax and enjoy nature.
We went there for the purpose of barbecue. At the lakeside you can park your car on the grass right beside the shades and use the grill there. The only problem is you gotta go there all prepared, because there is no department stores available nearby for charcoal or any other accessories.
Great place to relax, picnic, swim and kayak. Lots of places to park and enjoy the scenery.
Amazing little lake. Absolute best photo backdrop!! These were taken on a cloudy drizzy day. I know if the sun was dancing off the water these pictures would be 10 times more beautiful.
