Great place to fish...just make sure you bring plenty of bug spray & sunscreen!
The fishing is some of the greatest near by, it is a very well kept area lake and you can always trust anyone at the lake.
Most people go to the lake to relax. We camped out there last night and the caretaker decides to mow right next to our tent at 7 am. Very inconsiderate. Woke me and my 2 year old up.
I have recently traveled through this lake during the day, which is only notable because I normally am there during the night to photograph stars because of the lack of night lighting. But I've discovered several areas within the lake area that are great for daytime nature photography. It's easy to access and had road access around the lake.
