Not for us. They put us in a buddy site with someone that lived there. Junk outside everywhere and didn't clean up after his dog.
Good little campground for an over night stay. Easy access from the toll road to 35. No TV reception. They may have cable boxes you can use but we were only staying for 1 night so used my tablet. Bathrooms and showers were clean and neat. Would stay again.
Office is only open from 4-7 pm. We arrived at 3. Sign on door said to go to your site and come back to check in. We had been given a site number on the phone when we made ou reservation, so that's what we did. The power in tha site was poor. It cut out several times before hubby went to the office at 4. He was told that we were in the wrong site and we had to move. T, he office person as not friendly at all. We had to break down an move over 3 sites. At least the power worked better there but not great. It was running between 108 and 112 volts. No dog park or bags available. Thankfully we were only staying one night. We would not stay here again.
Beautiful place to watch a gorgeous Kansas sunset. Play some disc golf or enjoy some rest in a beautiful RV Park. Wonderful service, extremely clean restrooms and laundry room, very easy to make reservations and easy to just come on in and stay. The staff is absolutely so helpful and they are open year round and on holidays too. Make Emporia RV Park your next destination stop when your passing through.
