Not to KOA standards we subscribe for. Dirty pool, Rundown sites, too strict of restrictions that take away from the camping experience. Rude treatment by a grounds keeper about a rug we had down over gravel with no explanation. The restrictions don’t maintain a high standard in place… Trust me if the rug could’ve done anything it would’ve helped rid the gravel of weeds that are not being tended to. Just overall not an enjoyable experience for us. Not typical of KOA’s we’re used to. The location is great for St Louis events. It is a bit awkward with surrounding industrial business but the perimeter trees help it feel like a campground. I hope this place improves as we like the proximity to STL. We will try again next year.

I hate to leave a bad review, but I think people need to know what this campground is surrounded by. An industrial park, a very busy railroad, and a speedway. We hardly slept. It was SO LOUD very late into the night. We ended up requesting a refund for the next two nights and found a different place to stay. The tent sites were nice and flat and roomy, but with the noise, I wouldn’t recommend this place for tent camping. The campground is okay, but kind of run down. There was plenty for the kids, but was definitely shabby. This was our first KOA experience. I would never choose KOA again had another camper not told us this was horrible compared to other KOAs. Sounds like it is not up to standards. I’m grateful they refunded our next two nights. That was much appreciated.

I'll be honest. I was a bit nervous about the reviews at first before we arrived on our way out to Colorado. I can honestly say we were very pleasantly surprised by this location. The office staff when we arrived were very nice and welcoming! It is in an industrial area but you would never know once inside the campground. It's in its own little world and very relaxing. The pool was nice and the bathrooms were clean. Great place to hang your hat for the night and roll on! 👍 I would stay again !

I paid online for 4 nights and showed up after the office had closed. I did not take the map left for me out of their night deposit box. Stayed the first night and came back that evening to an empty campsite. Tent and all belongings gone. I called the emergency help number and was told since I didn't take the map they assumed I didn't show up. Well wouldn't you think maybe the guy that registered for 4 nights didn't know to take his map maybe we should call and check. No, not here they packed up all my gear. Punctured my $110 air mattress that was a week old. The manager didn't want to see my receipt which I offered to produce and stated "that could have happened in a week" and that she stood there and watched her people carefully take down my tent. I asked what she was willing to do to make it right and she offered to refund my $32 deposit. Would not comp the remaining 3 days on my stay, so I left. Have yet to inspect the rest of my gear. I do not recommend staying here.

This was a convenient place to stay with the camper while we visited St. Louis. The area has a bit of sketch to it and the smell of weed blew through the campground at night. Seems the host have this under control as it did not seem anyone in the campground was smoking it but it was blowing in from the surrounding area. Again a great place to stay and wonderful bathrooms.
