Ok going to try this again since I was knock out the first time.

This place needs help.

Pools, miniature golf, water slide, and other things need fixing and cleaning.

Pricing on ice, golf and other items need to be curtailed. No other parks we visited charged for their golf.

We have travelled across the USA for the last year and this place is as bad as half the encore parks on Florida.

We are full timers and TT members and are disappointed in this park.

The managers here don't make anyone follow the rules they give you when you check in.

Last night, music down by lake played until 11 pm so loud we could hear it in our RV from almost 200 yards away.

Then the golf carts sped up and down the road blaring music until 11:45 pm.

I thought quiet time was 11-7?

And no golf carts after 11pm.

They don't monitor the speed during the day or the stop signs. What good is it to have them if nobody pays attention to them. Even their security people don't follow the rules. Many times observed them chasing each other around, passing other carts and bike riders in the process.

The only bright spot to this park is a few of the maintenance people who really seem to be trying to fix this park, except they do say their hands are tied because corporate won't give them the parts to fix anything .

Definitely will never stay again.

Ever the locals in town say this place has gone down hill.

Their rental carts should have governors to restrict the speed they can go.

Been coming here for 20+ years and this place has just gone down hill. This used to be a reasonable priced place with family activities. Hardly any activities anymore. Grass was not mowed and maintenance said they only had one mower for the entire place. One waterslide was down and the worker said a pipe broke and no plans to fix it for the rest of the year. Same goes for the sleuth box they used to have. Yet the price has done anything but gone up. Had plans to come in here in October for Halloween but will be canceling and try to find a new family campground. The pools were dirty and didn't look like they have been cleaned. It was way better before corporate bought this place! They charge you for absolutely everything now and with a lot less of activities. Unfortunately its all about money now. One positive was the lady at the front desk was super friendly.

I decided to leave a review following our weekend stay to hopefully encourage positive change in a once great family camp ground.

The disappointment started upon arrival. We have been taking our family to this campground for many years and always enjoyed the Jellystone theme. To our disappointment, they new longer pay the dues to be an affiliated park and all of the trademark jellystone theme has been removed

The pools were incredibly dirty. To the point where we hesitated allowing our kids to swim.

One of the water slides (which is a main attraction) has been broken down for some time without any plans to repair this season.

Last year, a spot near the water slides was cleared out with signs indicating a new splash pad would open in 2023. There has been no progress.

The cabins we stayed in had unusable water. If you simply ram the sink for a period of time the entire cabin smelled like rotten eggs for a day. Obviously, they don’t want to invest in proper filtration for the high sulfur levels. We had to resort to going to the community showers to avoid making our cabin uninhabitable due to the smell.

As a whole, the entire park is ran down and in need of maintenance and repair.

On a positive, the majority of the staff we encountered were positive. Socially the younger staff running the kids activities.

As it stands we have no plans of returning. Hopefully, someday the grounds will be restored to their once family fun state

Going to write a genuine review, I've been going here for a while ever since I was a kid, I usually camp on the grass in tents and there's bathrooms near us, my first issue is those bathrooms near us, they're very dirty and have cockroaches in them can't expect anyone to use the shower in them so why is there one in there, next the pizza next to the store 1 slice cost 5$? That's an absolute scam the pizza wasn't even good and there was barely any sauce, tasted like cardboard. Lastly the bathrooms at the pool have showers where the water smells like eggs, I'm sure there are more issues from the other reviews I haven't witnessed, you guys need to pour money into cleaning up the bathrooms and actually don't scam us with 5 $ pizza, fix your prices, the only thing I really enjoyed was the time with my family and the fries at the restaurant I'd like to know how they're made and the ingredients.

We've been coming to this campground for the Halloween weekend for 15+ years and I think a lot of the reviews I'm seeing online are blaming "new ownership" for things that have literally always been the case.

Our beloved Jellystone (now just plain O'Connell's) has always had brown stinky water - it's well water! They've always asked us to clean up our cabins before checking out, and the paper thin mattresses have always been just one step above sleeping on the ground, let's be real - it's a camping experience, not a 5-star hotel.

The staff is mostly all the same friendly faces, too, so I don't understand people claiming that the staff is different and difficult to work with now. I didn't have that experience at all. Everyone is helpful and a pleasure to work with.

Since the switch, the check in process has improved significantly! We used to have to stand in line in the front office for like an hour to get our cabin keys, but now you can check in early online and I just drove right up to the gate to get my welcome packet. I was also able to check out and reserve my cabin for next year via text, which eliminated another hour-long wait in line upon leaving.

We have small kids in our group and we didn't notice any of the activities missing. We played candy bar bingo, painted pumpkins, trick or treated, did tie dye, karaoke, a late night dance party with a DJ, a costume contest, free crafts - nothing was cut, from what I could tell.

Ultimately, after hearing it was no longer an official Jellystone park, we were going to let this year be a trial run to see if we wanted to rebook, and we did! People use branding and ownership changes as an excuse to pile on complaints, but to us, it was the same old wonderful Jellystone weekend as always (minus the Yogi characters).

Thanks, O'Connell's! See you next year!
