We stayed in Owls Roost. We have a 36 foot 5th wheel. The asphalt is just wide enough for the camper. Site 16 in angled uphill and we were scraping our rear leveler on the asphalt trying to back in. A retired semi driver gave directions by driving on the grass or we would have left. Thankfully our site had an extra concrete pad for our steps but not all the sites did. The pad was long enough for the camper, truck and our Chevy Trax. Plenty of shade in the campground from mature trees. The bike trail is a fun ride.

This is our second time staying at this campground and we love it. Its clean, well maintained, and quiet (this weekend). We love that the beach is an easy 15ish min drive. The bike trails were great and well maintained. It is hilly which can make pulling a camper a bit difficult and not all the spaces are level; making set up difficult. Over all we like this campground.

1st camping experience and i don't think it could have been much better! SUPER clean, and well kept. Grass was freshly mowed. Showers/bathrooms were nearby and clean. We had a walkout tent site that was ~150' to our vehicle. There is plenty to do here: Kayaking, swimming in certain places, bike paths, mountain bike trails, hiking, archery range, etc. Plenty of tall mature trees to keep the sun off. Around 10pm it was nice and quiet with beautiful skies. Couple of small towns nearby for supply runs and visiting. We are already planning our next visit here. Very family and pet friendly place.
