Beautiful park but now water to site. You have to fill your fresh water before you set up.
We enjoyed a quick 2-mile pre-fathers day Hike and Picnic. Had the dogs with us and enjoyed the scenery. Someone said the trails are not well maintained but we only saw a couple of large branches across the trail. Personally, we like jumping over the logs and large branches. The dogs get a kick out of it as well. The trail is open to horses so watch where your step or where your dogs roll around. We learned that the hard way. Fortunately, there is a water pump at the beginning of the trail and rinsed her off. We also agreed with another reviewer about the bathroom being well-maintained. Other than a small field mouse that made its way into the woman's washroom which added to our entertainment as I heard a squeal from my daughter and saw her run out. Not much of a camper but as soon as I gear up we'll try an overnight. We got there before 8 am on a Saturday and there was no one to be seen. Be safe and enjoy your visit.
Gorgeous park. Quiet, clean, sites are well spaced and well laid out. Easy access for large rigs. Nearly half of the sites are water-side, nice breeze. Would definitely camp here again.
Camped at Hickory Point Campground. Good fishing and had a great time.
