We have stayed in a lot of RV Parks and Resorts and I have to say that the Space Station is a hidden gem. The service was just amazing. Be sure and look for the sign, Google maps puts them one block south of their actual address??? The sign is hidden by a tree when you come from the north. As we back tracked our kid saw the sign and we pulled in for a one night stay. The manager is a wonderful character full of helpful information and he made quite the impression on our son who kept calling him the Cowboy. The park office is under going some remodeling but it looks close to being complete. The campsites are well groomed, level and all hook ups worked perfectly. Bathrooms are immaculate, super clean, wonderful showers. For $30 per night you won’t find a better place.
We pulled in for three nights, but stayed three months! The park is efficiently run by the friendly resident manager, TJ. The infrastructure is older, but the place is clean and quite. The bathroom/showers are professionally scrubbed clean every Thursday morning and there is plenty of hot water if you’re patient [hint: let the water run a bit before you hop in]. The laundry room provides efficient machines at a reasonable cost. The WiFi is good and strong. Propane is available on site for a reasonable cost between the hours of 1pm - 9pm. There is a BBQ grill available on site for guest to use. Everything you need is within walking distance between the Stage Coach Casino [Go to the bar and purchase hard liquor in pint or fifths. You can also use the pool /hot tub just by asking the front clerk for a day pass—bring your own towel.] Eddie’s World provides affordable fuel, beer, milk, and snacks, and the Family Dollar has a bit of everything at a reasonable cost. Beatty, NV is a friendly town and the Space Station RV Park is the perfect base camp to explore all the area has to see—Death Valley, CA, Rhyolite, NV, Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge and more! I highly recommend The Space Station RV Park!
Convenient and adequate. Manager nice. Would try a different place next time as we just fit (38’ coach towing 2 door jeep) and they only had 20 and 30 amp service. Burros of Beatty were a delight to see wandering town.
Great central location for Death Valley National park and a real Wild West experience. Come for one day or stay for a while. Very relaxing location in the remote town of Beatty. Friendly staff and nice facilities. Beautiful scenic and centrally located in town. Wild burros are frequently seen in the surrounding areas.
30amp and water/sewer. Showers. A little road noise at night as the park is on the main road.
Very little traffic though.
I’d come back again if my wife would allow it.
Great Service. Basic Park, but that's what I needed for one night. Very good internet. Great for streaming! Get service from TJ. Adequate Space, not too tight. Walking distance to some restaurants.
