This lake is currently closed because they are replacing the dam...expected completion is summer 2025. This lake when filled is one of the most beautiful places in Nevada. Camping sites are clean but simple...fun place to visit!

Great trail system. Clean climbs and flowing downhills. There are even fun trails to get back to your car! Highly recommended riding. You can park outside the state park and just pay the $2 per bike fee if you want to avoid the $10 ($5 in state) out of state, park fee.

Love this place! They are doing some construction around the lake entrance. However, the hikes are great!

I've been coming here since my kids were tiny. My parents moved and I visited again when we brought my dad's remains back to the area perit hadn't been there in over 10 years and was so disappointed to find they were redoing the Lake! I'm sure once it gets finished and the water is refilled, it will be pristine! You could always be guaranteed of that turquoise/green water , just beautiful! I would have given it a 5 but couldn't since I didn't get to see the water this time. Still enjoyed a lovely picnic.
