5 miles up a bad road to find a full campground with no signs and no host. Avoid it unless you are climbing Mt. Whitney.
Beautiful campground. Good space between each site. Flush toilets and FREE, hot showers. Potable water around the loop. Dump station at the bottom of the hill. Unfortunately Cave Lake was nearly dry because they are replacing dam. There is no date for reopening the lake, but the area is beautiful. Great for hiking. Lots of huge rock formations.about 10 miles South of Ely, so not too far for the things you forget. Loved it.
Small campground of about 18 campsites. Very nice and quiet. Each space has a picnic table, we had two. Has flushing toilets and showers. Showers could use a little maintenance but they work fine. Overall a nice place to stay. There is a lake at the next campground over called Cave Lake.
This small, clean and beautifully situated campground is perfect for those who don’t need hookups. The sites are big and fairly private, there is shared potable water and the private flush toilets with a sink are clean and convenient. Warm private showers are so nice. Beautiful views. Perfect for a short stay!
Nice, mostly spacious, not much shade if you visit during the summer. 16 individual spots, 1 handicap spot, and a group campground. Clean bathrooms and showers available on site.
