About Campground

We are a Family Oriented Campground that offers a safe and clean place for your camping enjoyment. We are only 2 miles South of Lake Mille Lacs, across the road from Fiddlestix Golf Course on State Highway 47. We take pride in our "Always Free" Family Activities. Whether your going to take a dip in the pool, paddle boat in the pond, walk around and look at the various flower gardens, or take a walk out on the nature trails or catch a ride on the Rainbow Express or wagon rides. We strive to make your visit with us enjoyable and hope to make your camping experience a lasting memory.

At South Isle Family Campground, we take pride in offering activities for all of our guests. We are continuously adding, updating, creating and developing new activities for our weekend schedule. In addition, to improving our existing activities within the facility. Since our first year in 1991 we have insisted that the activities we provide are free of charge to our customers.

Over the years we have continued to add to our extensive and very unique playground area. We have taken out some of our older equipment and added some new. We are always looking for new ideas to continue making our playground a highlight here at South Isle Family Campground. All of these activities are provided at no cost to you.

We've been camping here for years and will continue to do so! There is so much to do. I have never heard "I'm bored" out of my kids' mouths. It's hands down the family favorite place to camp. Staff is great and the campground is always clean.

Plenty of fun things to do for the family. Great playground, shuffle board, tennis, basketball court, volleyball, badminton, soccer pool (enjoyed this very much), swimming pool.

Owners are very friendly and accommodating. We stayed for a week and had a great time. Thank you.

What an amazing place to stay and camp. Everything was wonderful. From the greeting by the wonderful hosts to the clean sites and beautiful shaded area for our tent. The Pool was nice and warm and let super clean. All the other campers were inviting and I met several new friends. We are certainly returning again and will recommend our friends and family to this place as well. Thanks to everyone for such an amazing stay

Love this place! Used to come every summer as a kid. 2 decades later and it hasn't changed too much (for the best).

No lake, but they have a pool for swimming! A pond with paddle boats, mini mini golf, daily train and hay ride, a nice playground with my favorite SPINNING 4 person swing! A couple arcade games in the main office, and a well stocked shop. With candy, snacks, shirts, ice cream, and all those camping essentials you may have forgot. Not to mention they have a disk golf coarse with the most clever holes/baskets ever! Also, lets not forget, the Redneck Games/Wacky Olympics! Fun and funny group games/activities where you compete against other campers.

The staff are as nice as ever and VERY accommodating!

⭐10 out of 10⭐ Would recommend!

The people are nice. The buildings and grounds are about 40 year's overdue for updating.

Not likely to go there again.
