Wonderful sleeper cabins. Sleep 6, heat and air. Clean. Nice tent sites. Showers and flush toilets are clean. Beach is lovely. Wish it was not on the dirty Mississippi but That wouldn't keep me away.

Great minnesota beach. Goes from shallow to way deep in spots so might not be great for smaller children. Plenty of agates, get to watch the barges go past, see some of the fancy folks on their yachts.

Really nice campground. Not allowing vehicles to stay at campsites was very enjoyable, and we had no issues with the temporary access to offload/load at either end of our stay. The firewood was dry and brought directly to our site, which had a great view of Lake Pepin. The campsite itself had a good firepit with a swivel-away grate for cooking, tent pad was level, picnic table was clean...overall just a nice place to get away for a weekend. A little bit pricy at $55 per night for a no-frills tent site.

One of my favorite places people tend to overlook. Trails are perfect for hiking. Massive campsite here, volleyball court, playground etc. The beach is huge, much bigger than you would expect. Definitely worth the visit!

We just spent the weekend in one of the new cabins. They are perfect. They're heated and spacious and the beds are comfortable. The weather this mid November has been unseasonably warm but even if it was cold it would have been enjoyable. In the late fall and winter there is no showers or running water but the outdoor "bathroom" is new and clean and we didn't mind at all. The park is so well kept and we love Hoksila. We WILL be going back once the snow falls to do another weekend. It's magic.
