About Campground

Family memories to be made just 2 hours from the Twin Cities! It is located just 10 miles south of Brainerd/Baxter, and 20 miles north of Little Falls on Highway 371.

Crow Wing Lake Campground lies on 30 wooded acres of mature trees, on the shores of 400 acre - Crow Wing Lake. We have 80 full hook up sites (some seasonal) and 20 electric/water sites. Each site comes with its own picnic table and fire ring. Our full hook up and electrical sites also have a 7’ X 20’ cement patio for a more enjoyable camping adventure. Most of our sites offer shade for those hot summer days.

The campground also offers full service restrooms, laundry facilities, fish cleaning house, boat launch, docks, slips and an on-site store.

Our camp store has a variety of things that you might need, or forgot to pack! We have groceries and bait, a variety of beverages, snacks, pizzas, souvenirs, camping equipment and a whole slew of other things! You can also rent pontoons, canoes, funyaks, paddleboat, and paddleboards here.

Arrived on a Thursday at 5:30 before holiday weekend. Did not realize they do not check in at all from 5:15-6:45pm because they eat at that time. They do not allow you to park camper by yourself so we had to wait until 6:45pm when they were done eating. Sites are okay. Very sandy and not much grass so by the end of each day you feel filthy and everything is covered in dirt. We have 2 adults and 4 children. We started to set up a tent that sleeps 4 for the two older boys who are 6ft tall. Was told we need to take it down. Only pup tents are allowed so people can’t bring more people into campground without paying, even though everyone in campground needs a wrist band to be there. Very disappointed by that since now we all had to cramp into our camper. The next day we had to go buy a pup tent that the boys crammed in there for the next couple days and now we have a pup tent we will never use in the future. Nice big playground. Nice sandy beach but lake is weedy. Nice docks to fish off. Have boats and canoes to rent! They have a nice heated pool, however holiday weekend and they didn’t have it running until 4pm Friday night. It was still being robotically cleaned even though they were open for couple weeks by now. One of the water slides is broken down. Prices went up along with everything else unfortunately. We have been going the past several years and on check out we reserve for the next year. They ask us what site we request. We have always said lakeside and have yet to get it. Bathrooms could use some updating. Not well cleaned at all. Overall a 3.8 out of 5 stars from me

Stayed at Crow Wing Campground. We are from Indiana and met family for 5 days of camping. Connie was so helpful during our reservation process a few months prior. All of the sites are very clean and level. We watched after each camper pulled out they were there raking and checking the site before the next camper pulled in! Bathrooms were always clean. The campground was quiet but had lots of activities for the kids.

Wow! Lets start with Connie and her amazing help getting all three travel trailers in my party in a great grouping and putting up with us for 4 days. The pool was great for everyone to cool off in. We rented two pontoons to go fishing from and everyone had a blast. The office/store has everything you need in a pinch and Brainerd/Baxter is 10 minutes away. We will definitely be back next year.
