I personally liked it as an RV site. I stayed in lot 11 and it’s a roomy hideaway I mean I can see my neighbors thru the trees but I didn’t hear anybody either which was cool and it had a picnic table .. big fire pit and hookups for water and electric. Showers which had hot water and not very dirty but a little but we are camping… my favorite was seeing the 11 milkweed plants and some monarchs… couple tree frogs and one made his way inside my camper and found his way out.. sure was cute.. I brought my dog and he liked it . The beach area was nice and all my run ins with people were good. Really no complaints except I had to leave a day early!😕
Wonderful place to visit with beach, park, playground and long trail for walking , running or biking. Not crowded, feel the nature as it's own way. W simply loved the place. Also have clean restroom and picnic tables. Also in shade. But you have to paye six dollers per day or buy an annual pass for 35 dollers. Or visit the first Tuesday Of every month for free.
It's just not a good camp site. We've went for the past 3 yrs and its boring, dirty bathrooms, no activities, people are creepy a guy asked me if I was alone. This campsite needs a redo. The group site has no level ground for your tent, and the ground is soft just a no from now on. We deserve better.
Within 30 mins from the twin cities. Nice secluded camp sites. Close to the beach and the owner does routine checks so does the coppers. Highly recommended.
