One of my favorite RV parks close to the metro, family friendly and wonderful trails.
Beautiful, large park with great facilities and nice camp sites. The trails are beautiful, and it is enjoyable to go down by the lake.
We visited the lovely playground within the Lake Elmo park reserve. It's a great combination of playsets, so there is something for all ages. We're always on the look out for toddler friendly playgrounds and the ship was perfect (though our 2 year old sampled some of the other sets as well)! There are bathrooms and a couple of picnic tables close at hand. It's close to the swim pond and trails too. The whole park is really well maintained and we're looking forward to coming back!
An absolute gem of a park, and I can't believe I've lived in Saint Paul for 9 years and just found it.... $30 for a season pass. Iles and miles of trails, all clearly marked, and labeled for walking, mountain biking, horse riding, and cross country skiing in the winter. I kayak the lakes, we walk miles every weekend. Ample parking, lots of variety and options for camping, two swimming holes.
Great camp sites. Lots of space and their are trees and bushes between you and the next campsite so it is more private than most. Hiking trails were very nice as well. Wide and well maintained. Campground also had very clean bathrooms in the modern camp ground the rustic campground was completely separate and did not have a shower and only had out houses.
