I love love love land of memories. I feel blessed to be on the land had some amazing experience both natural and supernatural. I would be back if I wasn't leaving MN . Would love to see more indigenous involvement when it comes to the land . Its extremely important 🖤🤍❤️💛

We camped for a weekend. So I'll start with the good stuff. Rv sites are big and lots of grass. Had good power poles and water access to fill fresh water tank with 10ft hose before I park. It's very nature related with a river to fish so bring stuff to do or it's boring for kids.

Now the bad stuff.. The website is very confusing for registration and u have to pre order wood when u are registering or u can't really get it from the park(they don't take cash or cards). They never gave us the code to get into the bathrooms and had to go ask for it only to find out when I go to take a shower "mind u I'm stripped down and ready to jump in", no hot water. It almost felt like they avoided telling us there was no hot water by not giving us a code.

I come here every year for powwow and have a great experience with the event. My issue is that the bathrooms are INCREDIBLY out of date. The shower water is always incredibly cold, they're very small so there's no where to put all of your shower stuff, and the toilets still flush with a button in the wall. At least the sinks were upded which is amazing to see! The playground is also pretty old and there's not a ton of spots with power but both of those are rarely a problem for me.
