Great campng spot between Gary and Duluth. Conveniently located and has a variety of rustic to full hookup camp sites. Pet friendly and affordable. Amenities include showers, bathroom, laundry facility a new fishing dock,, little general store and rentals for kayaks, canoes and bikes. Highly recommend checking this gem out!

We stayed a few days at this campground and had a wonderful time! The hosts were great! It is about a 5 minute drive from downtown Duluth. The camp shop has ice, wood, and a few small things you may have forgot, like marshmallows. They have wifi, but it is more for checking emails and wouldn't be suitable for work. We are already looking forward to planning another trip here!

Beautiful campground with an awesome trail connected to it and water on 3 sides. The owner was incredibly friendly and their cute store has anything you may have forgotten. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

great little spot! wouldn’t want to be here during busy season, however. the sites are on top of each other- staff was super friendly though and bathrooms were so clean. also, tons of spots to jump on an awesome trail system from your site.

11:00 checkout time is ludicrous. I like to dry all my things out so I don’t have to do it at home. Minnesota state parks I stay at have a 4:00 checkout time. My other favorite campground has 3:00. Motels have 11:00 checkout, not campgrounds. All he neighbors near me were rushed. I didn’t see any of them even have time for breakfast. (The youngins stay up late and sleep in.)

The location, 15 minutes from downtown Duluth is superb, as are the bathrooms, which are cleaned daily. The office has more souvenirs that a Loves Truck stop! Considering the location, I’d say $30/night was reasonable for a tent with no electric hookups.
