Located just minutes outside of Duluth, just off Hwy 53, Red Pine Campground (formerly Ogstons RV Park) offers something for everyone. We have 100 roomy, full hook-up sites situated around several beautiful water bodies. Our ten new sites will be ready to book starting mid June. Fish for Northern Pike, Bass, Walleye or panfish. Get together with family and friends under the large covered pavillion for a picnic, yard games, or just to relax. Explore the local wilderness on some of our beautiful hiking trails. Our clubhouse offers full bath and shower facilities, coin operated laundry, vending, books, movies, a pool table, and more. Looking for something more rustic? Try one of our brand new tent sites, set back in the peaceful north woods. We are close to Duluth and all it has to offer, but far enough away to remain a quiet north country retreat. And yes, we are pet friendly! Come see us this season. Book your stay today!
From jct I-35 & CR 13 (exit 246): Go 10 mi N on CR 13 to Hwy 53, then 3-1/2 mi W to CR-15 (between MP 16 & 17), then 100 ft N to Miller Trunck Rd, then 1/2 mi.
This is a nice quiet campground. Great value. Full hook-ups. Pet-friendly. They have a shower house that has nice shower & bathroom. Multiple ponds, nice walking trails. On the large pond/lake there are free paddle boats available to use. They also have horseshoe pit and bean bag toss games available to use for free. The daily camp sites are a bit small, but again it's full hook-up for a very reasonable price. About 15 min drive to Duluth.
What a great campground close to Duluth. Friendly people and fair prices. We stayed in the back spaces and they’re fantastic. We’ll be going back for sure.
This place was beautiful and we will be back! The only complaint I would have is the campers butt next to one another in one part of the campground and we had to buy a longer hose for water to reach but that didn’t ruin our stay. The staff was super friendly! The views were amazing! You can take a canoe or paddle boat which is included with your stay. They had great hiking trails to walk and explore. It’s close to Duluth if you want to do some of those activities or even take a day trip up the north shore. I highly recommend this place!
