About Campground

Welcome to Cuyuna Range Campground - opening June 30, 2023! We offer private, spacious campsites on a nightly basis to recreational camping vehicles (RCVs) such as motor homes, fifth-wheel trailers and travel trailers. **The campground does not have a separate bath/shower house so tent camping is not available and all RCVs staying at the campground must be equipped with their own bathroom.**

Cuyuna Range Campground is located in the heart of Cuyuna Country - located within a 10-minute drive of the nearby cities of Crosby, Cuyuna, Deerwood, Emily and Ironton as well as the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area, mountain biking trails and ATV trails. We are your home base to come back to after exploring all the area has to offer for restaurants, shopping, activities and adventures. Relax, laugh and enjoy time with your friends and family in the beauty of nature! Cuyuna Range Campground is a place for you to rejuvenate in the privacy of your own wooded campsite.

Cuyuna Range Campground offers 17 private, wooded and level campsites, all with full hook-ups (water, septic and electric (20/30/50 amp)) - the only campground of its kind in the Cuyuna Area! Each campsite is 40' wide x 60' deep (with at least 30' of woods in between each site) giving you plenty of privacy. No overcrowding here! Each of our sites accommodate RCVs up to 50' in length and provide use of a picnic table and fire pit with grill attachment. There is a class 5 pad on which to park and a grassy area to stretch out and relax in (bags game anyone?).

We live in the Cuyuna area so are available if you have any questions or issues and we'd love to make recommendations for restaurants, shops or activities! There is so much to explore and experience and we look forward to hosting you!

I am excited to have a campground with more secluded sites in the area that has full hook ups! The site was plenty big for my 25ft trailer and truck. It was very quiet and no light pollution so the stars were awesome. I wish the area by the fire pit and picnic table was grass but maybe that is coming in the future. Right now it’s a LOT of red dirt. Do make sure you are watching for the turn as the signage does not face the main road. Another note is that if you have T-Mobile like I do you will have very little to no service. I was staying here alone and was quite stressed to learn that I had no cell coverage. I will be back again, but not alone! Lol

It's situated right off of Hwy 6 in a pretty Birch and Aspen(?) Grove with wetlands nearby. I like that, except for the sites and main drive itself, the trees were all left in place. Full, brand new hookups are great for self-contained RVs while Cuyuna Range Mountain Bike Trails are just 15 minutes south.

Love this new campground just a few miles north of Crosby. Spots are spacious, well wooded, and have full hookups (50amp too). Used by a lot of mountain bikers because of the closeness of the Cuyuna mountain bike trails. There are not a lot of amenities, but that is perfectly fine for me. Online booking is easy and they were extremely accommodating for my several schedule changes. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Cuyuna Range over Labor Day. The sites are spacious, some of the largest we've seen! The site was clean and level. We stayed in the "Oak" site which was at the end of the road, next to their turnaround. Everyone in the campground was respectful and quiet, but with how spaced out and divided with trees the sites were, we probably wouldn't have even noticed a rowdy neighbor. This was like being at a state park! It was a treat to have such privacy, peace and quiet. With such little light pollution, we got to do some fantastic star gazing. Owners were great to work with, very responsive by email & they arranged to leave us a souvenir magnet at our site prior to our arrival (we collect magnets when we camp).

The sites are gravel without much grass but we found areas to walk our dogs in the turnaround that was grassier. We thought part of that area would make a stellar dog park area if there aren't other plans for it *wink-wink*.

For some reason, our cell service did not work at our site (T-mobile) but if we walked 2 sites towards the road, we had service so we must have been about 30 feet out of tower range LOL

Overall, a great place to stay if you want to be surrounded by pure nature and, we'll likely be back. If you stay here, definitely plan to stop at Rafferty's pizza for some phenomenal pizza and plan a trip to the Milford Mine Memorial park for a nice, informative & historical hike!

We enjoyed our weekend stay immensely! Absolutely dead quiet at night, we could hear the wolves howling. You can hear the highway during the day, little more noise than I expected. But did not degrade the experience, the sites are absolutely HUGE! The driveway/parking pads are not angled however, so you may have to nudge into your neighbors site across from you to get well situated depending on the size of your rig. The only major complaint, and it's so small, is the fire pit ring isn't buried. So when you are sitting around it at night, you can barely see it unless it's absolutely raging. Which also means the heat only gets you from your shoulders up. So we had cold legs and hot faces. But again, this is just feedback for a brand new campground that is clearly going to be a staple in the community. Will absolutely book again. I should also mention that the owners were incredibly accommodating when we had a last minute reschedule due to a family emergency, they helped us figure out our options for moving dates with grace and great customer service.
