I highly recommend Sunset Pines if you have a Scamp coming in for upgrades or service or you just picked up your brand new Scamp and want a place near the factory to camp out that first night and check all of your new systems out. What a wonderful place-peaceful, quiet, and well maintained! Everything you want in a campground for your first night in your new camper!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Pines, enough to extend our visit! The lake is gorgeous, (they allow guests to use paddle boards/kayaks for free!) The pool is immaculate, beautiful landscaping. How about that lodge though? Stunning! Go see what it has to offer! This place is the cat’s pyjamas! The managers are top notch too; super friendly. If we weren’t from Canada, this would be a frequent escape for us. ☺️

We stayed with family and had so much fun. The rooms were cozy, we had a cabin with running water and a bunk house. The kids loved the swimming pool, ping pong house and pool table. Not to mention the paddle boards and boats supplied by sunset pines! We had a blast even with icky weather and already reserved for next year. Only quarrel with service is that the lodge would randomly be closed with no sign. But that’s to be expected with new owners

Absolutely fantastic experience! We had stayed here a year ago with the old owners and were determined to not return. When I found out they had sold, I looked and happened to get us a weekend rather quickly (I'd say by the grace of god). It was an amazing experience. The new managers are so friendly and helpful. The kindness and welcoming demeanor was such a breath of fresh air. Only negative I can say is that I cant get back in this summer because they are booked! 😊

We went camping here for our first family camping trip. There were plenty of activities to keep kids busy. They had sand toys and chairs to use on the beach as well as paddle boards, kayaks, and many outdoor games in another part of the campground. We didn't get a chance to use the pool because the weather was cooler on our full day at camp, but it looked great and well taken care of. We heard from other campers that the pool was warm on the chilly day. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They dropped off firewood to the campsite, and offered to drop off any other items if they weren't in the office when we went to get something. Overall it's a great family-friendly campground that we'll return to next year!
