We had an event. Biggest disappointment was restrooms were closed for the winter. I rented the shelter a couple months before. Could have waited one more week to winterize rest rooms. :(
Just a beautiful park along the side of Lake Kampeska. Clean bathroom, plenty of room for a family or church picnic. Nice play area too.
Site 20, absolutely gorgeous sunset views. Playgrounds were great for our kids! (8,6,2) The boardwalk along the lake made for some great views of the lake. Bathrooms were very clean. Loved this trip! We will definitely be back.
The park is a beautiful place to camp and the lakeside is great. One night we were trying to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time sitting next to our camper but it was spoiled by the beeping backup horn of a payloader. This went on until 8:00 pm. This kind of work and noise should have been done during the daytime hours!
Love City Park! Stayed there many times, and never had any problems. It’s a great park for dog lovers, it’s close to Watertown, and close to the Casino Speedway! Gets loud on Sunday evening due to all the hot Rod worshippers, hot dogs & beer. Kampeska is a beautiful lake with good fishing and an even temperament.
