We absolutely love this state park. We take the family here once a year for camping. Definitely a must go to.
Beautiful campground next to Big Stone Lake. Has two fishing docks and I caught many good sized sunfish and perch while there. VERY clean restroom shower building. Disc golf course. Boat landing with large parking lot. Large beach with small boats to rent. Our campsite for 26' travel trailer was $26 per night.
Park is beautiful, but there were so many flies, catapillers and ants. Not a place for tent camping only RVs, the west side has to many hills on the sites. The trails are great, so many beautiful things to see. They have books for kids to interact in finding different things but they need more points of interest signs through the trails. Park hosts kept bathroom and park clean and their so friendly and helpful.
Beautiful location with great fishing and hiking. We stayed at the west campground on a site near the water.
Our camp hosts were very nice and kept the grounds spotless and organized.
We come here every year and the improvements made each year make each trip more enjoyable. The work on the trails got us walking every one of them. Rode our bikes through the park also. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. We stay at a lot of parks and yours are one of the best we have used. The hard work of your employees is greatly appreciated.
