Very nice, new playground. Impressive for any city let alone a small town.
It's a very peaceful park with easy in and out for campers. Nice playground, scenery etc. I'm giving it 3 stars bc the bathhouse really could use an upgrade or a rebuild, where there are two shower heads in one shower stall. I was thankful that a stranger didn't just come join me with no shower curtain anywhere in sight. This place has SO much potential. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt safe while there.
This is a beautiful park that is well thought out. Bravo Elk Point! Nice playground, adult 6 point work out stations, beautiful ball diamonds, fishing pond and perennial garden. There is a gopher problem so be aware of holes when walking off the trails. Affordable camping spots and it looks like they are building a new bath house.
