Staff is super friendly and nice! My son and I stayed for 3 weeks while I was working in the area. Grounds are always kept up with. A good size pool and activities for the kids. Internet is a little spotty, but other than that I 100% enjoyed my stay.
What a terrible decision coming to this place KOA . The location is basically right on the highway . I couldn't get a single minute of peaceful sleep. It felt like all the cars and trucks were passing over me all the time . Also there was a train passing tooting the horn . The tent side that were assigned was full of what looked like dog food that we had to pick up full of ants 🐜 . And where the tent were supposed to be were uneven and full of holes and grass. The restrooms were looked with a code that you need to bring with you to get in . 3 out of 4 of the toilets were dirty with poop . So i did not understand what's the point of having so much security. I picked everything up very early like everyone else at that camp site from hell ! And left for Good ! . I think that is a very horrible location to stay and spend the night . I will never gonna come back even if its free . I still can't believe tha we paid for staying there . Don't waste your money and time coming to this place that they call campground !
Great little RV park by the highway.
Clean bathroom and showers.
Fun playground for the kids, mini golf and a fun bounce pad, it even holds adults!
Great snacks and pizza, beer and wine also for sale.
Amazing staff, very helpful no matter the time.
We pull in after an 11 hour drive. Tired and hungry, we just wanted to park and rest. We were greeted with a most pleasant woman who was performing the following tasks: she checked us in, led us to our site, operated the camp store, cooked our pizza, offered and offered to deliver it. She did all this with a contagious smile, pleasant attitude, and sincere concern about our comfort. When I commented on how she was the Jack of all trades there she just smiled and said, yes we didn’t expect to be quit this busy tonight. No whining, no complaining, just a sweet smile. We were not the only customers, the place was buzzing and everyone received the same great service. Definitely on my return to list. KOA corporate should be proud to be represented so well.
We stopped here for one night on our way from Maryland to Mount Rushmore. It was perfect for an overnight. Easy access for 40 ft motorhome, right off the highway. It's a small campground but clean with nice sites and adorably decorated cabin. I wish store hours and pool hours were longer. We were there in the summer and didn't expect pool to close that early.
