This recreation area is part of Lake Oahe
In Central South Dakota: 5 miles north of Ft. Pierre on Hwy 1806, on the south side of Oahe Dam.

Lovely camp grounds, clean, great bathrooms and showers, wonderful hosts!
This is a great place with 3 separate campgrounds. Nice and well kept. My only concern is the speeds people drive in the campground. This includes the staff.
There is only one dump station with 2 spots for 200 campsites so expect to wait in line to dump.
