Very nice place to stay, a lot of sites to choose from, very nice laundry building, store, we bought firewood for the fire pits they have at each site, walked around and and even saw an eagle, my husband left some bread out and a squirrel came and carried it up to it's nest, we stayed a week, will come back for sure

We just bought a pass for a day visit. Ample locations for fishing without a boat. The beach wasn't too busy. Very limited shade. We have small children under 8 and hoped to find a playground or something to keep them engaged. Great walkability even with a stroller.

3 stars because we go here all of the time and LOVE IT! However, whatever new staff has been hired takes their job way too seriously. I’m pretty heavily tattooed, and my husband is a senior chief and it was pretty obvious we were profiled & treated like criminals when we’re the most unproblematic people ever with a baby. Even the security guards were laughing at how ridiculous the lady (longish brown hair - older) was being. First, she called security on us for pulling our car up (which we do every time and immediately go park it) so we can unload my son’s stuff. Then, she called on my husband for trying to use a grill under a pavilion. The security guards literally ended up driving over and bringing us a grill in their truck. Like really lady? Next time I’m there i’ll make sure to get her name and make a formal complaint.

Also, a bunch of other people are commenting how much $ the yearly passes are, yet this place hasn’t been updated in 15 years. It would be so nice to have a playground and a pool.

A great place to get away and enjoy your family and friends. From camping to townhouses, it’s all covered. You can do boating, kid’s activities, or just sit and enjoy the beach and water.
