This is an excellent campground, with a decent price, staff was super great with all info and accommodations, very clean, dog friendly, they even allow dog fencing on your site, nice clean sites, bathrooms/bathhouse are clean, even noticed other campers did there part on keeping them fairly clean, lots of activities, close to anything you might want to do, but yet still out of the major hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach

Only complaint we have is the showers lack in water pressure, 9 showers and only 2 had decent water pressure, out of 2 months of our stay so far, only had to wait on a shower once, only because I wanted 1 out of the 2 that had decent pressure

Owner’s boyfriend/husband needs to learn how to talk to people. Make sure you don’t break any rules, written or unwritten, you will be scolded like you were some kid. But even a kid shouldn’t have been approached the way we were, for just going through 1 unoccupied site. He was very rude and wanted no discussion and when we tried to explain, they told us to leave. We were scheduled to be there a month and lasted 2 nights. We were not the only adults in campground that had been scolded by this man. We tried to explain this to owner, and share some stories, but she didn’t want to listen.

So I will start off from the beginning. I was looking for a lot since I was moving to Texas and I called them twice during booking the lot. First time I was told one quote and second time a whole other amount. Okay things happen I get it. Butttt just wait I get there with my RV showing up the next morning and I was again given another whole different/higher quote. At this point what am I going to do, Ive just paid such and such to have it moved there I dont have time to look for something else within a night. And we were also told if the 5th wheel got there earlier than check in we would be charged, never heard of that prior to getting there. Thankfully we checked in before it was due to be there. But def shouldnt be penalized for being early. So we get there, we are paying $45 a month for a extra car that has to sit in overflow, even though its hardly there, just at nights basically. THEN THE MOST IMPORTANT PART, I was told the wifi was great, they have no issues and I made sure of this since I work from home I need reliable wifi. She assured me they never have issues especially during the day but maybe a little slow at night. I can handle the slowness at night I work during the day. Nope, I had to undo and take my desktops to another location three times before I finally decided to just keep it there and work. Night time went from slow to not working (more than not). Maybe this is normal I dont know. The electric meter was placed weird and we had to have it where it went in between our slides, well that meant no real drive way for a car.The tree limbs were on top of the RV and we couldn't open the slideout without it damaging them possibly. We get a puppy, tell them we got one, everything was fine. As we all know puppies and crate training is not fun. I get it they are loud but sometimes it can not be avoided. I always took the puppy with me to work and or someone was home with him. Of course we had to go to the store or do something that he had to go in crate for. We got a call one day concerned he was ok because he was barking and wanted to make sure the ac was on, we had only gone to the store and been gone a total of 45 min. Second call said the puppy got out of his crate and his head was poking out the window, he was about 10 weeks old he wasnt going to get out but I did appreciate the call to let us know. I called to get how much the next month was going to be because they dont give you notice, and I had also been told Dec is cheaper as well as a few other mths. (they arent) Kim tells me that she wasnt sure she was going to renew our lot rent because of how loud the puppy is. She was nice however, but in not so many words it was get rid of the puppy or move. We couldnt move with such short notice. They allow aggressive dogs in the park, and if these dogs are in the dog park dont dare go near it with your fur babies. The owner of the dogs will tell you to go away. They will bark aggressively at you if you walk by them or they walk by your lot. They send the lot/electric notice on the last day of the month and it is to be paid the 1st day (next day) or a late fee applies each day. Me being ocd with bills I usually pay mine early and everywhere I stayed prior always gave a week notice. But not this place. Also our elect ran $86-$88 a month, thats with no one home during the day all week and when we are home we use minimal electric to avoid using too much elect. Then we had to pay $150 fee for not giving 30 days notice of vacating.I didnt have 30 days notice to give them but no worries they made sure to withdraw that asap. The movers showed up without me even knowing and the fees showed up at the same time so thats how I found out the movers came was from the park withdrawing the funds. My issue is we are not renting or in a lease, its a month to month lot rental. They are def penny pinchers, like to sit and watch your every move and forget about the neighbors, never felt more uncomfortable being in a park.

We could not love this campground more! Absolutely beautiful grounds, the waterway is a stone throw from any campsite, and so peaceful & truly taken care of with pride. The staff are polite, helpful, kind and genuinely go above & beyond to take care of their guests. You feel like you are away from it all with the abundance of birds, wildlife, especially cardinals!, trees, we even had two owls visit our site at night, a highlight for us! With all this nature, it’s crazy because you are only minutes away from shops, restaurants, grocery stores, movie theater, beaches and activities, but when in the camp grounds, it’s an escape from the hustle & bustle. The best of both worlds! The sites are constantly maintained, grass cut, bathhouses are always clean, fantastic pool & common areas with disabled access for easy entry, the office, shop & cafe are delightful and so welcoming when you step inside. They organize awesome local live music and activities & movies nights etc. something for everyone, thoughtful & presented with care. This is a gem for the Myrtle beach area. Our second stay & definitely not our last! This is a park will will return to time & time again. Bravo to the Management & Hideaway team for such an excellent job & 5 star camping experience.
