Stayed for 8 nights. It was very relaxing. The best part is the surrounding Santee State Park with lots of nature to explore. Campsites are spacious and well kept. Plenty of bathroom/shower facilities. Dump station is conveniently situated and easy to use. Park Rangers and Camp Hosts are pleasant and helpful. The camp store is well stocked. Would absolutely stay again!
MUST GO:
CYPRESS LAKEFRONT Site 43 is the best spot! Overlooking the lake, easy accessible trails from your campsite down to the lake. 4 walking trails.
Camp store has a walkout pier and glass indoor viewing area.
Customer service was fantastic.
Beautiful views, pretty spanish moss in trees, fun camp store with supplies and firewood. Amazing wildlife and trails. If you need wood, buy it before camp store closes. Not available from host. Saw bullfrogs, large snails, armadillo!
