Average 10 minute walking distance from the beach depending on where you stay. Do yourself a favor and rent a golf cart and explore. There's a lot to do around the resort, but also tons to do within the resort itself. From the lazy river and pool to the on site store and arcade and grill. Also a funnel cake stand that serves various treats. Great for a family vacation. Something for everybody. This might be a yearly spot I plan trips to from now on.

It was our first time camping there and my wife and I loved it! They have full hook ups and easy to see camping sites. It was easy to back in our 22 feet long camper. At Pirate Land Campground you put your trash next the road at your site and they pickup trash all day long. There are many sites including the beach front. There is a store and laundry on site. There is also a delicious funnel cake maker on site. There are different food trucks that come onsite each day. Golf carts are available for rent and I recommend renting one. The people working there are very nice! Also, we felt safe staying there because they check every vehicle coming in and have a security car cruising around the campsite.

This is a campground. We have been coming here quite awhile and we enjoy the laid back atmosphere. It is also very reasonable. Our only thought is on some of the lower lying sites they should drag them to keep them level. Other than that we love it and will always come back.

We have stayed here a few times. It is great having the ocean so close and who doesn't like a good sunrise. Bathrooms are clean. But the campground in general is not very clean. People do not pick up after there dogs, there is poo all over. And then there is the people camping months at a time and they are allowed to put up tarps or what ever they want to inclose there pavilion. There are black tarps, blue tarps, orange tarps, even duct tape holding them on. Looks like a homeless camp in an expensive RV park.
