This place is the worst, STAY SOME WHERE ELSE! Made reservations for site with full hookups. We were told when we arrived, we did not! We were taken to a site in the back of the campground where they should have been parking abandoned cars. Our site was covered by surface magnolia tree roots the size of a black water hose. My wife spoke to the assistant manager, who was a real disrespectful jerk. The site we were first given was $97. We upgraded to full hookups for $130. But the new spot also had ankle breaking roots.
NOT WORTH THE HASSLE OR THE COST!
My family and I stayed at Mount Pleasant / Charleston KOA in June 2023 in our travel trailer. We enjoyed this KOA so much that we changed our travel plans to stay an additional night. The grounds are well kept, pool is fun, lots of outdoor activities, the coordinated kids activities are top notch, staff is so friendly, laundry facility was small but adequate and very clean. We hope to visit again!!
