This was the perfect place to center and reset our lives, so peaceful and serene. The camp hosts, Deb and Del were the sweetest couple, so helpful and accommodating. You know... in all the times we ever camped not one camp host ever made it a point to greet us with our first names. They greeted us like we were old friends, and we felt welcomed. Definitely going back and may pop down south where they snowbird in the winter.
Del and Deb were amazing camp hosts they kept the property clean and friendly. The bathrooms were always clean and the fresh water areas never had trash in them. They gave us our space and allowed us to enjoy our camping trip hassle free. We 100% enjoyed our time here and would come back in a heartbeat. Loved being able to share the experience with my family and my parents were able to come up and do some fishing with my son! They caught four trout while my sister my wife and I all enjoyed the lake with our paddle boards! We’ll be coming back! It was also a treat to have all the rabbits hopping around each day!
My parents have been coming 65 plus years, our family keeps growing. We do a family trip every year make memories. The camp host Deb & Del are such amazing host we love them so much. We enjoy talking to them, they take such great care of the camp ground and all the people. The fairy garden is a dream, kids love it. We feel like home when we go camping.
Love Emily Francis.
Me and my wife have been coming to this campground for three years. We have met the Camphost, Dell and Deb and they’re fantastic to work with a great couple always stopped to say hi and visit with us we would recommend this campground great place to play fish hike s t a r g a z e and oh yes don’t forget to check out the fairy garden next to the camp host trailer.
This year we stayed in campsite 18. Lots of tree coverage. Lots of shade. We thoroughly enjoyed our four day stay.
Smith and Morehouse has become our new favorite!! It’s a beautiful campground, well kept and clean. But the BEST part about the camp ground is Deb Del, and their son Jona! Wonderful people who become family once you’ve stayed there. They communicate, they are friendly, they are fun! Our granddaughter loved the Fairy Garden too.
