Located 1.7 miles north of Ignacio on Hwy 172 and 18 miles from Durango. From Albuquerque, NM: Take I-25 to US-550 North and go 196 miles. Then turn east onto County Road 318 16.3 miles to US Hwy 172 North and go 2 miles. Sky Ute Casino is located on the east side of Hwy 172.
My family and I loved staying here. We came in on Christmas day (had tickets for the Polar Express in Durango) and stayed for 3 nights. I loved the pool and bowling alley for the kiddos. Also bought a beautiful pair of earrings from the gift shop. The staff here are very professional. The room was very clean. Loved my balcony. The views were so peaceful. I will be back.
Best time ever with bartender Derrick! He is so nice and friendly and watches out for the customers! Jim is also great! The atmosphere is wonderful and welcoming!! Had such a great time I will be back!!!
I stayed here for a work trip. The rooms were great although a small kitchenette would be really nice. The pool is big in the fitness area is pretty up-to-date. The laundry takes quarters. The event center is absolutely amazing, their banquet rooms and bingo hall is cool. Their bowling alley is really nice and the restaurants in the building are great.

The food was good, nice pool, decently priced meals. The table games were not open on the Monday and Tuesday we were there. They have a bowling alley and putt putt in the summer. If you want early check in they will charge you 25$.
They are strict on check out times.
This is always a nice place to visit when I get a chance. It's not a far drive from Durango and is full of nice scenery. There are a variety of places to eat or drink. The night life scene is a change of pace and draws a good crowd. The slot machines are nice and give you the opportunity to keep playing. The building is very nice and clean. Plenty of parking. Have fun.
