One of the most beautiful places I have ever went swimming at my son absolutely loved it I would give it 10 stars but it only goes up to 5
Beautiful area. Very narrow road to get down to the water. $10 fee. No good for big boats to launch. The ramp is very neglected. The area is beautiful, great for picnics or kayaking. The water has 5mph boeys, but 2 boaters and a jetski were tearing threw there.
Nice place to dry Camp. The train that came thru about 3-4 times a day was awesome to listen and watch. ATV in the area like to play late into the evenings for a bit of obtrusive noises but settled down around 9-10 pm.
If you love trains and camping well look no further, Salt Creek Dispersed Campground is the one for you. It has great spots, you meet very interesting people and it was a relaxing place to stay for the week we stayed.
