Camping is one of the most economical ways for a family to spend vacation time together. With money for leisure travel at a premium this year, you may decide that the best way to spend your vacation is to visit the Shelburne Camping Area.
We feature spacious campsites with full electrical, sewer, cable, and water hook-ups for RVs and Travel Trailers as well as wooded sites for Tent Campers. A camp store, restrooms, showers and modem hook-up are also available as well as the Dutch Mill Family Restaurant for those of you who don't wish to "rough it" too much, but still would like to be in the beautiful surroundings.
Directions from route 89: Take exit 13 to Rte. 7 and head South for 5 miles. The Shelburne Camping Area will be on your left. (If you are coming from the south on Route 7, we're just 1 mile north of Shelburne Villiage on the right.)

We had a great stay at the campground. Staff were incredibly friendly. Grounds were well maintained and lots are quite private. Bathrooms were very clean. Pool was great, super clean. Short drive to Burlington. Went to concert at Shelburne Museum which was just a short drive. Would stay again and recommend.
It’s disappointing that the owner of this RV park with a good location as it is doesn’t make this a much prettier and more comfortable place. The ONLY reason we stayed here the second time (last time 2 years ago) is all the other parks were full within a 30 mile vicinity.
The owner apparently runs this place by the seat of his pants.
No one is there on Sundays at all, we had no electricity at the campsite. Was a pain in the a$$ to get a hold of someone. The spaces are dirt and mud! It rains a lot there!
Also very narrow sites and difficult to get into and level.
Just Beware. Find another place to stay.
Camped in my little tent here for a weekend wedding and it was overall a very nice experience. It was very quiet at night which was the best thing about it. Despite being close to Rt. 7, you can’t hear the traffic at all and though there must be train tracks somewhere nearby (I heard one train), they’re not running at crazy times so all I heard was peeping frogs and the breeze through the trees. Very pleasant.
The bathrooms were very clean, smelled good, not weirdly damp like some campgrounds, even when there were folks taking showers. There was great hot water, plenty of hand soap, and no spiders!!!
Overall a nice place to throw up a tent to sleep in before going exploring out during the day. Lots of nearby food options and attractions.
