Update responding to the business: we were never offered another site, we even asked if there were any other sites available, however we were told that they were “completely booked.” Please don’t lie.

Truly a terrible experience with horrible customer service. Flooded campsite in which we asked for a refund since our campsite was half under water. Ownership refused and we were forced to make last minute accommodations elsewhere.

When asked for a refund days later after our scheduled visit, ownership had the audacity to tell us that the water went down that night and it was suitable. So are we supposed to set up our tent in the mud at night?

Stay away from this rundown campsite, management doesn’t know what they’re doing, even other campers said our site wasn’t suitable for tent camping.

Shamrock Campground is a great place.

One of my problems is that some of their sites are on a hill, so not a lot of area to set up tents, and all the rain floods down to the only flat spot at the bottom, so where you can actually place your tents, it's all soaked and muddy.

The places around the campground, beaches, arcades, stuff like that are great and close.

This is a great primitive campground. We camped in a tent. Sites aren't super huge but are pretty private on the far side of the pond. The owner was amazing and was very welcoming, friendly, and understanding. We have had so much rain this summer, causing sites to be wet and some what muddy. We had just had a pretty good storm the day we arrived, and thankfully, we were able to set up without any rain. The owner was very accommodating to us, that the site may be slightly muddy and offered us a free night. That never happens anymore these days! We were overly appreciative. Use caution on some of the more wooded sites as there is posion ivy. We did not know, thankfully, only got some around my ankles. There is a bath house with both men & womens restrooms and 1 shower for women and 1 shower for men, but it was very clean. The location was perfect for what we had planned for the weekend. We would love to stay here again!

This place was great! Friendly and helpful staff. Campsites are really close together, but still feels like you’re in nature. The bathrooms and pool were kept really clean. Felt safe, quiet, and our kids LOVED the pool and playground.
