Stayed here two weeks ago.. Maybe it was three.. but my family of four absolutely loved it here! The owner is friendly, and I enjoyed his sense of humor. The campground is clean, and peaceful. We had the best time! The kids had fun with the scavenger hunt. I hope to find the beaver next time! Lol. The price to stay was very reasonable! Especially compared to other campgrounds in the area. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks for having us, Stadig Campground!

I called today and wanted to go there tomorrow with my popup! I’m a local and I do work full time, but wanted to take my son camping! They were for us making a reservation until I said I keep to myself and work during the day. They basically accused me of being a transient! All because I work! So let me get this straight, I wanted to camp for a few weeks and still work so I don’t lose money, but that’s not okay! I’ll take my money elsewhere! Rude as hell!

By far the worst campground I’ve ever been, first of all they wouldn’t let us in because we were going to arrive after the 9:30 curfew, even though we advice them that we were too far to arrive on time, they let us stay on the front yard by the road for the same price saying that they were trying their best to be kind. Also saying that we should’ve known the rules if we would have visited their website.

Second day we checked in and said that we had guest coming over, but when we all arrived after our dinner at 9:45 our guests got savagely escorted to leave the place immediately or the police would come. After talking with the owners the next day they still wouldn’t let our guest come for the whole stay saying that they were really not welcomed here. (Although they have a huge poster Bienvenu Canada)

For the rest of it everyday the owner was driving his golf cart to our site and was being very rude at us for any stupid issues. We really felt spied like it was Big brother watching us. However, if it wasn’t for the staff the campsites were very pretty and (strangely) very quiet, but the bathrooms were very awkward and not so clean.

Owners if you’re reading this I hope you will find the love that you need in your life and the strength to forgive people.

Camp site for tent was flat and well maintained. Sandy soil was great for tent stakes. Bathhouse could use an update but were clean and everything worked properly.

This is a very safe family oriented campground. You will not need to suffer through drunken parties with loud music. Thank goodness it has irregular, large, beautifully treed campsites, not a gravel parking lot. It also has numerous statues and whimsical creatures which form a treasure hunt for young campers. I really love this place.
