We had a wonderful trip and Allagash Gateway provided the canoe gear and shuttle service. AGC was professional and Belinda and Steve did everything that they promised -- the added bonus was meeting Steakums and Buggy. Our trip started at Lobster Stream, we paddled over to Lobster Lake, then headed down Penobscot River and over to Chesuncook Lake. We didn't encounter any unpleasant surprises with the outfitter and would recommend them to anyone doing this trip-- convenience, courtesy, and professionalism were their hallmarks.

We have gone here the last 2 years for a fishing trip. We love it. Great service. The people running the place are great with my son and his friends. Looking forward to going back. The sunset on the water Infront of the camp.

Awesome place! Family owned and great place to escape to. Quiet and great views. Golden road is a well maintained mostly gravel road. Kyak & canoe rentals, plenty to do year round. Can't wait to get back!
