From Indian River County: From Interstate 95, take the Fellsmere/Sebastian exit and go east (towards Sebastian) on County Road 512. After a short distance, turn right on County Road 510. This road will intersect with U.S. Highway 1. Continue east, over the Indian River, to State Road A1A. Turn left (north) and go 7 miles on State Road A1A, you will have arrived at Sebastian Inlet.From Brevard County: From Interstate 95, take the U.S. 192 exit and go east until you reach State Road A1A in Indialantic. Turn right (south) on State Road A1A and go 18 miles to get to Sebastian Inlet.
Excellent place to spend the day out camp near the water. I haven't ever seen so many sea turtles in one spot in my life. Boat ramp to launch a boat, intercoastal wade fishing is phenomenal. Kayak fishing is amazing, along with pier and jetty fishing. A beautiful lagoon to swim in for the kids and family. Perfect for a day trip.
Such a beautiful spot to stop in and check out. Our beach house provided a great setup so I wouldn't spend the day here..but it's worth a visit for sure. We waded in the inlet, and the kids tried to snorkel, but it wasn't as clear as we hoped. The boardwalk is lovely and easy to access to check out some action. We saw lots of manatee, crabs, different sorts of fish, and gorgeous views.
Relaxing, family-friendly environment. Perfect for fishing, building sandcastles, reading a book, having a picnic, and swimming with wild dolphins. Please respect the animals if you come. No touching!!!
Spent a day here with my young children. By far the cleanest beach I’ve been on in Florida. The Atlantic beaches had large waves and cold water, but the north river inlet was zero waves and warmer, shallow water. The bathrooms were clean and all staff were friendly. Saw dolphins, turtles and countless birds.
What a great place to visit. My family packed a lunch and made use of the picnic area on the south side of the inlet. We noticed that this side has some nice campsites. We didn't camp here, but we will consider it on my next visit.
Don't forget to drive over to the north side of the inlet. The boardwalk goes out a distance and you'll see fishermen casting their lines. You can walk around the park, enjoy the beach area or even stop at the restaurant.
