Enjoy our Private RV SITE on the head of the Homosassa Springs with full hookups, WiFi, dock & water access. Have your coffee while manatees swim by the dock, take a cool dip in the spring water, or toss a line & catch some dinner. The site is shaded with large oak & magnolia trees, perfect for having privacy to enjoy the outdoors. We provide a fire pit, table & chairs, & a large area mat for outside. We welcome guests with boats (check bridge height restrictions). **SITE ONLY RV NOT INCLUDED**
Stayed 2 nights as we were attending a wedding in the area. Did speak with the front office 2x and they were helpful to include accommodating a spot move (we hooked up in the wrong spot as we arrived after dark). Didn't use any of the accommodations, so can't speak on the them. The spots are tight, so if you're not a season driver, this place might be challenging. We did lose power on the 2nd night and had to go outside in the early hours to reset the breaker. The campsite served its purpose for this trip, but if you're looking for a ritzy place, this is not it. We stayed in spot 24B.
Not a place that I would come back to. Not clean at all. Very tight no room between sites. Our electric 30 amp outlet is half melted. kind of hesitant to use it but I have no choice. Where you hook your sewer pipe to must be 12 inches out of the ground and with the elbow on the sewer pipe very difficult for it to drain. Several very old campers in here. There are only two attractions really close by. Everything else is more than 20 miles away. Must say the residents are very friendly.
I stayed here for two weeks. Check-in was bad similar to others reviews. Check-in friction could be reduced with some reflective site number signs; auto email actual site number for weekend check-ins that don't lock-in on campspot since the onsite manager doesn't work weekends. I read some reviews that talked about a bad vibe here and didn't get any of that, very friendly fellow residents. This place is super quite at night, I suspect that stems from the fact maybe 75%+ of the park is long-term residents. The bathhouse was grimey for six days. This place for me was a good value and I would stay again.
