We took our soccer team here for a retreat and it was amazing. Saw almost all the wildlife you could see and enjoyed some peace and quiet. Debbie and Rob are great to work with. Very nice facilities as well! Thanks!
Deerhaven is my Florida home away from home. It's a wonderful facility where we've held camps, conferences, and retreats, and it is a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world and experience Florida nature at its finest. Whenever I spend time at Deerhaven, I return to my everyday life rejuvenated and refreshed. The caretaker is continually improving the grounds, and it's always walk-in ready for our events. I love this place!
I have attended Deerhaven's Campground & Retreat and Conference Center for over 40 years for various camps & retreats since I was a kid. It is the perfect place to hold these kinds of events! It's centrally located in FL and secluded enough to feel like I am far away from everyday life. My family has also rented the campground for the last several years for our big family reunions each year. The kitchen has everything we need to prepare, cook and serve our meals to our big group! A big enough spot outside to play kickball and volleyball and even a little stage in the main building to perform our talent shows! I've even attended a wedding there one year and it was right next to the beautiful lake. The caretaker takes wonderful care of the grounds! - JaAna
I organized a retreat and camping weekend at Deerhaven this last May for an outdoor group at my church and everyone had an absolutely amazing time! We have been to many retreat centers in Central Florida and this one by far is one of the nicest. We couldn't get over how incredibly clean and organized it is. The accommodations are very nice and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, and it really feels like you are away from it all for a few days. We rented the commercial kitchen, and it was fully stocked with EVERYTHING we needed with plenty of refrigerator space. Debbie in the office and Robert at the camp couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. We can't wait to go back!
Held a retreat weekend for teenagers and adults at Deer Haven and it was perfect. Staff are super easy to work with and very accommodating and responsive. Facility is beautiful. It was a thrill to see so much wildlife just outside windows. Peaceful and serine with all the right activities and space available to meet many needs. Would definitely recommend and return for future needs.
