What a gem hidden away in this little town in South Central Florida. It used to be a KOA years ago and is in fact still owned by the original owner. Being an old park it is expectedly dated, but the facilities are well kept and clean, and it's got a nice pool. It's a big Park and has several full-time residents as well as pull through spaces and back in spaces for overnighters. All of the sites have 30 and 50 amp hookup Water and Sewer, but no cable TV. It's a nice little park and we liked it, and we will return again as we have friends that live in the area not too far away. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby and a rental car agency that's close enough to walk to from the park if you need to get a rental car. There's a Sam's Club and Walmart a few miles as well.
The pool is clean, the neighbors seem friendly, and there's a pond nearby with an assortment of birds to watch. :)
I've seen vultures, turkeys, ducks, chickens, etc hanging about.
Lynn in the office is / was very helpful & a joy to deal with nice gal she is,,, price is reasonable, we are passing through the area, in need of a few daz rest of driving and they were happy to accommodate 😇🙂 also fellow campers are nice,, it has an old time feel everyone waves and polite great people & clean setting 😀
I've lived here since 2017. For the most part, I have loved it. Quiet. The owner is friendly. The park manager is not. The pool is always clean. The showers and bathrooms are cleaned daily. The grass is always kept nice. It is very reasonably priced. Not dog or kid friendly for the most part, but a good place to stay if you are passing through. Bob McGlashen, the owner, is generous and kind. A reasonable man
